We beleive that many Heppell live in England.
A small hamlet situated 50 km north of Newcastle in Northumberland County bears the name Hepple and could have originated the Heppell with double L) family name in England. This Heppell family name appears in the 13th century and both spelling are still in use nowadays.
Other researches indicates that the first Heppell arrived in England with William the conqueror, in the 11th century. Further researches are in course to learn more about the real facts.
